Population and employment
Of the 820 people living in the parish (taken from the 2001 Census) 68% are of working age.
16.5% are under 16 and 15.5% are pensioners.
The children are almost equally divided between the 0-4, 5-9 and 10-15 age groups; the majority of the working population is between 30-59; and there are more pensioners between 65-84 than those over 85.
The proportion of males to females is very similar.
